The following links are geared for more of a devotional, versus academic, approach to the Bible. The two aren't mutually exclusive, but for ease of navigation, I've separated the two main types of resources.

This is the official website of the Assemblies of God, the cooperative fellowship to which I belong and am a minister. Beyond all the specialist-wonk pages, the "Devotionals" and "Spiritual Help" content is quite good for a general audience.

This site generally takes more of a conservative approach to Christianity. It grew in conjunction with the NET Bible project, which is one of the newest and most helpful approaches to translating the Bible.

Though not technically a site for bible study, you can tell a lot about what people believe about God by listening to the songs they write. The music on this station ranges from tolerable to pretty awesome.

This is an online version of the NIV Study Bible.

Based on the New Nave's Topics Bible, this Logos.com service lets you type in a word, & in return you get a list of Biblical references that address the topic. Just be careful with this tool and pay attention to the context of each verse. Caveat emptor.

This page answers various common questions people have about the Bible. The answers come from Ph.D's in the field who balance rigorous scholarship with pastoral concern. Anyone can submit a question. The answers will be clear, fair, and well-documented.
