HebrewWoot 2011 (My Hebrew Mixtape)

Six13, The Maccabeats, Aryeh Kunstler, Hazkeni Voices. These are just of few of my favorite artists of all time. The fact that they sing in Hebrew is just a bonus. The songs on this playlist are the songs that I use in my classroom to teach Hebrew. These are also the songs that I play at home so often that my kids, even the preschooler, can sing right along, even with lyrics such as "hodu l'shem ki tov, ki l'olam chasdo..."

In recognition of Leviticus 23:40, the etrog is waved around along with a palm frond, myrtle bough with leaves, and willow bough with leaves. Part of the symbolism involves God's providence over all of creation.

For Bar Mitzvas. "Moves Like Moses," Pella Productions. They don't want their video embedded, but you can follow this link. It's definitely worth the listen. Their other song is for Hanukkah, "Holiday Party (Tonight Tonight)."
